What was the point of all of it if the story was going to be a generic children's story with a ton of cringe and cliches? If this is what pleases a mainstream audience and compels them to give good ratings towards a horrible movie then well done DC animation, you have done a fantastic job.

Justice League Dark: Apokolips wars. Jason and Tims reaction to this movie: Jason: Glad we werent introduced Tim: Yeah hopefully we will in the new timeline because this aint it chief. Pretty much one of the most epic DC movies. I love the fact that the direction doesnt focus on the fights but on the actual story and characters. Superman fights Darkside? We seen this a million times before and it's boring. instead, this movie lets the fights be in the background as emotional stuff are in focus. Darkside does some truly shocking things and we get the resolution of many questions such as what's up with Raven's father. The movie creates an epic and very satisfying 'finale' for the JLA. The only problem I found in the movie is that you need to know who each character is and what they do in order to appreciate the magnificence of this masterpiece. And you need to excuse how magic works because it's just a plot device but thankfully doesn't challenge much the suspension of disbelief. I love how Batman was utilized and the ending was the only possible ending you could have. So many brilliant ideas were thrown in this movie! Well done guys.

This movie is so good i became a dc character. Rob I don't know if you're aware, but this movie is apart of the dc animated universe. Amanda Waller dying of cancer was alluded in Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay. Superboy I believe is Conner Kent or at least modeled after him because he's a clone of superman made by Lex Luthor in Reign of Supermen. Damain Wayne and Batman have their own animated movie in Son of Batman, and we've seen Raven and Damian together in the Teen Titans movies. Essentially, yeah there's been a lot of development with these characters in their own respective movies. Even John Constantine in the first Justice League Dark movie which was the reference for the title of this movie. You should definitely check them all out, they're solid films that add substantial depth to this whole dc animated universe. I would love to see your reviews of them.

I honestly don't know what everybody is complaining about it's a well written film and they pack a lot into 1 hour 40 but that's the beauty of the DC animated films they explore all avenues and address a wider range of impact points caused by the actions of the film.
I love the many various alliance which I never really considered before ( superman and raven, Lois and Harley) as someone who isn't an avid comic book reader it's a refreshing sight and all the more enjoyable. I personally think it's the best of the bunch (considering most of the Dc animated films are amazing) and for sure do not agree with most of the opinions on the platform.
